About the role

  • Business Development Executive in geospatial sector with a focus on client acquisition and relationship management. Engaging in business development within the construction and engineering industries.

Responsibilities

  • Provide sales and growth effort through new client acquisition.
  • Build and maintain relationships with our existing clients.
  • Promote the company when in attendance at meetings, corporate events, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Prepare quotations and tender documentation.
  • Advising clients on technical approaches to business problems, using our wide array of data capture and delivery techniques.
  • Working closely with operations to ensure end of end project alignment with client expectations and scope
  • Maintain and analyse key information during the bidding process.
  • Research and pursue leads that could develop into opportunities
  • Rigorously record and mine within the company CRM package
  • Work with senior team members to enable and deliver on key performance plans and strategies.
  • Collaborate with sales and estimators of other departments to deliver multi-faceted services
  • Working closely with BD executives in other departments, to develop multifaceted and complex solutions for selling to our vast client base.
  • Reporting weekly on all activities and progress on targets to the Digital Construction Head of Department.
  • Work closely with Department Heads on larger opportunities.
  • Support and assist in developing overall work winning strategy.
  • Always ensure integrity and honesty and report any occurrence which may cause the company to incur increased risk, come into disrepute or result in a loss of reputation for the business.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of the geospatial and construction industry in Ireland
  • Degree in Geomatics, Engineering, Construction or equivalent.
  • Strong commercial knowledge of construction industry
  • Strong ability for attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Able to work to deadlines
  • Work in a team but also autonomously when necessary
  • Clean full Irish driving licence
  • Able to travel nationwide
