About the role

  • Sales Executive responsible for closing accounts within Asian markets and developing new customer relationships in hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Must have success rate with closing accounts within the Asian markets.
  • Actively seeks out and develops new customers.
  • Must be able to acquire at least two new accounts per month that result in repetitive business.
  • Provides consistent interaction with existing customers.
  • Manages sales territory coverage to ensure level of customer contact required to support the business plan.
  • Maintains and builds account relationships.
  • Represents the Company at industry trade shows and conferences.
  • Adhere to and meet all required sales metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing.
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience and/or 7 years minimum experience in a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in freight forwarding operational skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proven history of achieving quarterly sales targets.
  • Candidate must possess strong mathematical skills and ability to understand basic costing for all freight forwarding products including air/ocean/domestic trucking/import and export.
  • Must be a self-starter and highly motivated.
