About the role
- Senior Purchasing Manager leading procurement for Modular Genius, Inc on construction projects. Developing purchasing strategies and managing vendor relationships to ensure operational success.
Responsibilities
- Lead the purchasing department and ensure the company has the supplies, equipment, products, services, and materials it needs to support modular construction projects
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize costs, maintain quality standards, and mitigate supply chain risks
- Manage and administer all purchasing activities within Procore
- Oversee purchase orders, commitments, vendor contracts, and change management in Procore
- Ensure clear requirements documentation
- Forecast market trends and mitigate risks
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Business Development, Construction, Operations, and Finance
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness

Requirements
- Proven working experience in purchasing
- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
- Interest in market dynamics along with business sense
- Experience in negotiation and networking
- Working experience of vendor management software (Procore and Sage)
- Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures
- Solid judgement along with decision making skills
- Strong leadership capabilities
- BS degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
