Responsibilities
Responsible for booking and managing venue rentals and events to achieve customer and visitor satisfaction.
Work with community partners to coordinate and monitor event outcomes.
Facilitate sales of venue rentals to current and potential clients.
Deliver high quality service for weddings and other events
Collaborate with Food Services, Building and Grounds and Visitor Services for successful event planning in a team environment with a customer service focus.
Promote community partnerships.
Participate in internal and external planning committee meetings.
Support the mission of the organization.

Requirements
High school, or equivalent, education required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred
3+ years’ experience in event coordination or related field
3+ years in sales, marketing, or customer service experience preferred.
Ability to create, prioritize and execute appropriate event action plans.
Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Written communication skills to be concise, well organized, complete, and clear.
Excellent customer service skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office products, proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel.
Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
