Responsibilities
Receive phone calls and office visitors requesting changes to existing coverage and/or new policies
Determine acceptability and placement make recommendations, complete applications or endorsement requests and collect premium when applicable
Review existing accounts to determine if an additional line of insurance or coverage of insurance should be recommended
Maintain and develop underwriting knowledge as well as procedures for all carriers using internet sites
Assist in meeting monthly pre-established goals
Handle all clients with a high level of customer service to ensure excellent customer satisfaction and professionalism at every service contact
Inform, educate, and make recommendations to clients about policy coverage, changes, exclusions and insurance coverage needs
Perform other duties as requested, including exercising discretion and judgment prioritizing workload
Requirements
Property and Casualty License must be obtained within 75 days of the first day of New Hire Onboarding
Basic knowledge of personal lines insurance coverage
The employee is responsible for adherence to the stated expectations of the E&O Plus Quality Management Program
