Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic risk partner and advisor to the Pacific HR Function
- Actively participate in Risk Forums and provide operational risk challenge
- Oversee the operationalization of the MMC Pacific Risk Management Framework
- Ensure regulatory compliance and enhance risk and compliance frameworks
- Manage breaches, incidents, and controls assurance programs
- Serve as a key escalation point across the People function
- Partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure HR policies meet legislative requirements
- Drive a strong risk culture and governance within the People Function
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline
- Strong understanding of enterprise risk management frameworks and risk governance best practice (15+ years)
- Experience in compliance management within regulated financial services
- Proven leadership in risk and compliance management within financial services
- Ability to work under broad direction and manage multiple initiatives
- Strong strategic thinking skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Experience engaging with Executive Committees and Boards
