IT Advisor supporting day-to-day operations of Guardian Business Solutions team at Enbridge. Responsible for system access, user training, issue resolution, and testing methodologies.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the day-to-day operations of the Guardian Business Solutions team, with primary responsibility for supporting the Guardian, including monitoring intake tickets, maintaining the work queue, and participating in weekly prioritization reviews
Liaise with Guardian and Drop Zone users at various levels of the organization to investigate and resolve issues and develop solutions
Oversee system access - seek approvals where required, setup new users in the system with the correct level of access for their role, maintain security profiles and documentation of user profiles, and monitor license usage and requirements
Conduct Guardian training – develop training plans and resources for new users, update training materials to reflect the latest system updates, and coordinate and deliver all necessary training
Provide Guardian system sustainment support, including share ‘n learn sessions, system communications, and creating/updating user guides and documentation
Lead business requirement gathering for standard work, such as annual system setup or measure changes, and configure the system/implement the change where possible
Assist in business requirement gathering and documentation, for system enhancements and functionality issues
Ensure documentation is completed and approved by stakeholders prior to release
Conduct testing for both sustainment and enhancement work, key integrations, and regression testing
Work with System Administrator/Enhancement Lead, TIS and developer to disseminate results, resolve failed tests and approve system functionality for release
Gather report requirements for users, build reports, and maintain and update existing managed reports in the system
Administrator of Guardian Library and Guardian Knowledge – ensure resources are up to date, maintained and easily accessible
Support other aspects of GBS team as required (i.e. SharePoint sites, backup support of other roles including System Administration, etc.)
Requirements
Related university degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or business degree (or similar educational experience) and minimum of four or more years of experience related to Energy Conservation or industry experience OR equivalent combination of formal education, certification and experience
Proven ability to effectively prioritize key issues
A self-starter who is driven and possesses strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
Excellent oral and written communications including public speaking and training facilitation
Solid problem-solving and analytical skills to support troubleshooting, issue identification and resolution
Experience in reconciling data sets and working in spreadsheets to balance expected compared to actual results
Experience working with the Salesforce platform
