Area Sales Manager II responsible for growing specifications and sales for HVAC products. Engaging with architects, engineers, and contractors in the Los Angeles or Sacramento areas.
Responsibilities
Responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with the architectural, engineering and specifier community to educate about Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US (METUS) products
Increase the number of specifications, and subsequent sales within an assigned territory
Participate in developing and executing sales plans within commercial sales channels
Perform direct and joint sales calls to develop relationships with local architects, engineers, and contractors
Deliver educational presentations to architects, engineers, contractors, and commercial sales channels
Manage project pipeline and track within the SalesForce CRM system
Actively participate in sales planning and execution of sales plans for commercial sales channels
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience
5+ years technical sales experience
High degree of knowledge of local HVAC commercial sales channel, engineers, and contractors
Expertise ability to read and comprehend architect and engineer plans
Proficient with PowerPoint/Excel/Word and other Microsoft Office products
Excellent public speaking skills
Strong understanding of HVAC application and design is preferred
Must reside in the Business Unit Geography
Valid Drivers License with acceptable driving record
