About the role

Responsibilities
- Responsible for handling complex cases in customs and foreign trade law
- Project lead for process and IT topics within Global Trade Compliance
- Make well-founded decisions in the compliance environment, communicate them clearly and ensure consistent implementation
- Coordinate implementation in collaboration with the relevant business units
- Define roles and responsibilities and create necessary process and procedural documentation
- Ensure that legal requirements are sustainably embedded into operational systems
- Support training and awareness initiatives
Requirements
- Completed vocational qualification or degree with several years of professional experience in foreign trade law, customs clearance, or a related field (e.g., foreign trade / foreign trade law / compliance), or an equivalent qualification
- Relevant professional experience in an industrial/manufacturing company and knowledge of regulatory requirements for imports and exports
- Experience in change management and supporting transformation processes
- Strong communication skills and conflict-resolution competence, including in challenging situations
- High willingness to learn and the drive to work into new subject areas
- Strong communication skills in German and English
- Ability to work in a team and willingness to cooperate, particularly when working with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, strategic thinking, and high integrity, combined with the ability to analyze complex issues in a structured, solution-oriented manner
