About the role

  • Social Media Specialist executing brand’s social media strategy across platforms for global leader in smokeless products. Focus on engagement, storytelling, and influencer collaborations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day social media activities
  • Ensure consistent tone of voice, visual identity, and messaging across all channels
  • Monitor trends and proactively suggest relevant content opportunities
  • Support our agencies with the creation of engaging content
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (photographers, videographers, agencies)
  • Optimize content based on performance insights and platform best practices
  • Identify, vet, and manage relationships with influencers aligned with the brand
  • Together with our agency, coordinate influencer campaigns from briefing to execution and reporting
  • Track performance (reach, engagement, conversions) and ensure deliverables are met
  • Support contract management, gifting, and campaign logistics
  • Attend brand events, launches, and activations
  • Capture real-time content (stories, reels, live updates) during events
  • Coordinate with event teams to ensure strong digital visibility
  • Manage post-event content rollout to maximize reach and engagement
  • Support Translate offline campaigns, retail activations, and events into digital-first content
  • Ensure seamless integration between physical experiences and online storytelling
  • Collaborate with marketing and retail teams to align messaging and timing
  • Monitor social media KPIs (engagement, growth, reach, conversions)
  • Prepare regular reports with insights and actionable recommendations
  • Track influencer and campaign performance
  • Stay up to date with platform updates and industry benchmarks

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in social media management or a related field managing brand social media accounts
  • Experience working with influencers and executing campaigns as well as supporting or covering events for digital channels
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms and trends (Instagram, Hootsuite…) with good eye for aesthetics and brand storytelling
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities (strong organization skills)
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data
  • Native German and/ or French and fluent in English are a must
  • Comfortable being on-site at events and working flexible hours when needed
  • Creative team player with a collaborative mindset
