About the role

  • Lead process optimization and digital transformation initiatives at Reynolds American's manufacturing environment. Focus on efficiency, waste reduction, and quality improvement in Winston-Salem.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement process improvement plans to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
  • Analyze process data, identify root causes of problems, and recommend solutions to address issues.
  • Benchmarks on digital standards is best practices with other factories.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Provide training and coaching to employees on process improvement methodologies and tools.
  • Establish metrics to measure process performance and monitor progress towards improvement goals.
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure process improvements align with overall business objectives.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate progress and results to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in process improvement, lean manufacturing, or similar roles.
  • Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in using process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, PDCA or Kaizen.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and documentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Knowledge of VBA and SQL
  • Effective communication and presentation skills; able to train and mentor teams.
