Responsibilities
Assist in managing patent information in BAT’s internal patent database (Anaqua), including data entry and updates.
Support the creation and maintenance of audit mechanisms to ensure data integrity.
Assist in managing the accuracy of workbooks and commentary in BAT’s Master Repository database (Patsnap).
Help coordinate with Patents team members on the storage and management of patent information.
Provide basic administrative support, such as preparing documents, scheduling meetings and handling correspondence.
Liaise with external service providers for routine tasks under the guidance of the Patent Operations Coordinator.
Assist in preparing reports and summaries from the patent databases as needed.
Requirements
1-2 years in an administrative, IP, legal operations or data‑heavy role
Experience in data entry and administrative tasks
Strong clerical and organisational skills
Experience in a large fast paced dynamic environment or legal industry is beneficial
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, in particular strong Excel skills.
