About the role

  • Key Account Manager at BAT developing commercial strategies for key accounts in Fiji. Leading negotiations, performance analysis, and fostering team diversity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement commercial plans for key accounts, identifying gaps, opportunities, and strategies to improve channel performance, while ensuring alignment with BAT’s strategic objectives.
  • Lead negotiations and development of Trading Terms agreements within key accounts to optimize BAT Fiji’s market position, including monitoring compliance to improve return on investment.
  • Draft and ensure approval of account contracts through legal and financial review processes.
  • Take ownership of accurate channel volume forecasting by maintaining monthly Key Account Plans.
  • Lead and review trade spend and investments to ensure efficiency, compliance, and maximized value.
  • Analyze account performance data to find opportunities, trends, and actionable insights, and regularly review strategy and activity implementation to ensure performance delivery.
  • Own the development and implementation of customer workshops and business reviews to drive collaborative planning and strategic alignment with key account partners.
  • Ensure effective end-to-end management of Order to Cash processes, including cash, stock, and debtor management, while engaging internal stakeholders to drive alignment and foster a positive, growth-oriented culture.
  • Foster a culture of diversity and inclusion within the team.

Requirements

  • 3–4 years of experience in FMCG, with a strong track record of cross-functional collaboration and key account management.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow key accounts, consistently achieving sales targets and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Experience in customer management, building and demonstrating relationships with internal stakeholders, business partners, and customers.
  • Demonstrated strengths in time management, project planning, and negotiating/implementing trading terms and contractual agreements.
