  • HP Product Developer I at BAT developing prototypes and conducting lab tests for heated product innovations. Supporting senior developers and maintaining quality in product development processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop prototypes and samples for new Heated Product (HP) innovations.
  • Perform lab work, experiments, and product testing using scientific methods.
  • Analyze test results and sensory data to improve product performance.
  • Support senior developers by providing technical input and updates.
  • Maintain high standards in sample quality and follow internal testing procedures.
  • Create and manage your own work plans to meet project timelines.
  • Suggest better lab practices or procedures to improve how the team works.
  • Guide and support other team members in lab work and development steps.

Requirements

  • Degree or experience in science, product development, or FMCG/food-related fields.
  • Preferably 4 years of experience working in labs or testing consumer goods.
  • Comfortable analyzing data from lab tests and sensory evaluations.
  • Curious and creative, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Knows how to prepare, test, and review product samples.
  • Can manage tasks across several projects with changing priorities.
  • Able to work with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Understands the importance of regulations and sustainability in product development.
