About the role
- Commercial Finance Intern at BAT contributing to finance projects across Greece, Malta, Cyprus and Israel. Engaging in leadership and business competency development with a focus on finance tasks.
Responsibilities
- Delivery of project work & assignments relating to competency and leadership development within functional as well as cross-functional teams
- Assist functional managers and executives in the delivery of key aspects of their role, i.e. monthly forecasting, understanding of revenue performance, preparation of business cases, budget & investment proposals
- Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and reports in a knowledgeable manner to aid in business decisions
- Support pricing and financial analysis of new market launches and new category products
- Follow up with other functions on Investment Expenditure
- Build and maintain financial reports and models
- Any other ad-hoc tasks/ reports requested by the Finance function
- Work proactively in close collaboration with line manager with a view to maximize and accelerate own learning process
Requirements
- University Degree in Finance, Business Administration or Economics
- Master’s Degree in Finance or Business Administration or relevant field will be appreciated
- English and Greek (written and spoken), mother tongue or equivalent
- Good computer skills with advanced knowledge in Excel & PowerPoint
- SAP and Power BI knowledge would be considered a plus
- Strong analytical skills, ability to link data to performance drivers
- Good interpersonal communication skills and ability to interact across functions
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work under pressure
