About the role

  • Social Behavior Change Manager designing and implementing health communication interventions for adolescents at Tiko. Focusing on behavior change for sexual and reproductive health in Nigeria within a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing state of art Social and behavior changes interventions in support of Tiko’s health programs focusing on adolescents and young persons.
  • Developing Tiko platform marketing and communications strategy; bringing insights about our users, their needs, motivations, and their online and offline behavior.
  • Translating Tiko's social behavior changes and marketing strategies into actionable plans and activities within country context to drive demand for Tiko platform membership and services uptake - this will include developing and executing content, brand materials, social media engagement, and continuous effective messages.
  • Effectively designing tailor made SBC interventions that enhance our value proposition to our key partners i.e CBOs, mobilizers, providers, retailers and MOH partners.
  • Employing a data driven approach to field operations by driving and using research and insights from the market to continuously improve demand generation and behavior change among Tiko’s target audiences and communities we work in.
  • Identifying strategic SBC partnerships and branding opportunities that will put Tiko at the forefront of our target audience’s mind and influence desire service uptake and behavior change.
  • Provide oversight and management of the SBC staff where applicable.
  • Providing Programmatic oversight to local partner organizations implementing SBC and marketing activities in support of Tiko offerings.
  • Engaged and collaborated with line government ministries and other partners on matters sbc and marketing as guided by country leadership.

Requirements

  • Relevant university qualification in social behavior change, health communication, Marketing, community development, Business Management, or similar.
  • Proven experience in communication, marketing, community development with a track record of managing and growing marketing strategies, brands, influencing social and behavioral change, with including at least 3 years of experience playing any of the above roles.
  • Demonstrated ability in setting strategic marketing directions and executing plans independently.
  • Strong experience in leading agency relationships, with the capability to articulate campaign results and insights.
