About the role
- Manager BI Development responsible for modern data and reporting solutions using Power BI and Fabric. Collaborating closely with teams to enhance data-driven decision making.
Responsibilities
- Build and further develop Power BI solutions
- Data modeling, DAX development, visualization, UX optimization, and performance tuning
- Creation, maintenance and deployment of semantic models (Fabric & Power BI)
- Development of Fabric artifacts such as Lakehouses, pipelines, Dataflows Gen2 and Data Engineering workloads
- Responsibility for data integration and transformation logic (Power Query / M, Dataflows, pipelines)
- Implementation of end-to-end data processes
- Close collaboration with business units to define KPIs, data models, and reporting standards
- Establishment and continuous development of data-driven governance
- Preparation of documentation, guidelines, and conducting training for Power BI users
Requirements
- Degree in Business Informatics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power BI
- Data modeling (star schema, best practices)
- DAX & M / Power Query
- Visualization and UX
- Performance optimization
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric or strong interest in working with Fabric Lakehouses, pipelines, Dataflows Gen2 and semantic models
- Solid SQL skills and understanding of data architecture and ETL/ELT processes
- Experience working in Microsoft 365 environments (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams)
- Analytical thinking and structured way of working
- Ability to explain complex topics clearly
- Experience in asset or fund management analytics is desirable
- Strong communication skills
