About the role

  • Payroll Specialist in charge of processing complete payroll and ensuring compliance with labor laws. Working in a hybrid model at Método Grupo in São Paulo, Brazil.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and review end-to-end payroll processing, including verification of charges, benefits, advances, terminations, vacation and 13th salary (13th-month pay).
  • Ensure compliance with deadlines and statutory filings/obligations (eSocial, DIRF, RAIS, CAGED, FGTS, INSS, IRRF, etc.).
  • Perform analysis and verification of payroll entries, payroll items and payroll events.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing information and reports upon request.
  • Update and correctly apply current labor, social security and tax legislation.
  • Assist with the configuration and maintenance of the payroll system.
  • Review and validate time and attendance reports in partnership with the Personnel Administration area.
  • Prepare management reports and HR indicators (headcount, labor cost, overtime, etc.).

Requirements

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related fields;
  • Postgraduate degree in HR Management, Labor Legislation or related areas is desirable.
  • Technical requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of labor and social security legislation;
  • Solid experience with the RM Labore - TOTVS payroll system is desirable;
  • Knowledge of eSocial, SEFIP and other statutory obligations;
  • Advanced Excel and familiarity with HR indicators/metrics.
