Responsibilities
Support in developing communication strategies, PR concepts and editorial plans for our trade fairs
Create content: research and write press releases, blog articles, newsletter contributions, etc.
Produce social media content and handle community management
Assist in preparing speeches and presentations
Contribute to the content planning, organization and execution of press and stakeholder events
Support national and international journalists during our trade fairs
Respond to press inquiries and coordinate interviews
Assist with communication evaluation (media monitoring, etc.)
Administrative tasks (e.g. journalist accreditation, website maintenance, distribution of newsletters and press releases, etc.)
Requirements
Completed university degree in communication or a related discipline
Ability to quickly understand complex topics and tailor content to target audiences
Initial demonstrable practical experience in PR or journalism
Affinity for online PR and social media
Basic skills in journalistic writing
Independent working style
Strong communication skills
Desirable: initial experience in the events industry
Excellent command of German, both written and spoken
