About the role

Responsibilities
- Support in developing communication strategies, PR concepts and editorial plans for our trade fairs
- Create content: research and write press releases, blog articles, newsletter contributions, etc.
- Produce social media content and handle community management
- Assist in preparing speeches and presentations
- Contribute to the content planning, organization and execution of press and stakeholder events
- Support national and international journalists during our trade fairs
- Respond to press inquiries and coordinate interviews
- Assist with communication evaluation (media monitoring, etc.)
- Administrative tasks (e.g. journalist accreditation, website maintenance, distribution of newsletters and press releases, etc.)
Requirements
- Completed university degree in communication or a related discipline
- Ability to quickly understand complex topics and tailor content to target audiences
- Initial demonstrable practical experience in PR or journalism
- Affinity for online PR and social media
- Basic skills in journalistic writing
- Independent working style
- Strong communication skills
- Desirable: initial experience in the events industry
- Excellent command of German, both written and spoken
- Business-fluent English
