Responsibilities
Strategic development of the division to increase efficiency and optimize processes
Leading and motivating your teams
Planning, controlling and executing events across all technical event areas — from booth/stand construction to hall management, cleaning & waste management, security, traffic & logistics, as well as optional technical services such as architecture & design, audio-visual & lighting, CAD and media graphics
Selecting and coordinating all trades and service providers in the technical event area in coordination with Procurement
Overall responsibility for executing the technical aspects of events, including obtaining official permits and stand/booth approvals
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations (including, among others, the VStättVO, accident prevention regulations, occupational health & safety, fire protection and technical standards)
Budget responsibility and optimization to improve cost-effectiveness and profitability
Close collaboration with internal and external partners and with the management team
Requirements
Completed university degree (Master, Diplom, state examination) or master craftsman qualification in a relevant field, or a comparable qualification, or several years of relevant professional experience
Several years of in-depth professional experience across various areas of event production/fabrication
Knowledge of regulatory requirements
Many years of leadership experience combined with strong interpersonal and team skills, with the ability to motivate employees, lead them to success and actively coach them through change
Strong business acumen based on operational business processes and workflows
Well-developed understanding of customer needs
Ability to grasp, analyze, structure, and clearly present and communicate complex issues
Strong analytical, conceptual and entrepreneurial mindset and approach
Very good command of English
Very good MS Office skills
