About the role
- Global Lead for Medical Affairs Operations driving excellence in a pharmaceutical company. Leading a team to optimize processes and ensure compliance in medical affairs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for operational excellence in alignment with the GMA vision
- Lead and develop the GMA Operations & Excellence team
- Optimize processes, workflows, and systems (e.g., Veeva MedInq, PromoMats)
- Drive digitalization and omnichannel projects as well as medical information services
- Design and deliver B2B training and establish a unified GMA training framework
- Ensure compliance, quality management, and audit readiness
- Maintain close collaboration with internal and external partners and with members of the GMA leadership team
Requirements
- University degree in healthcare, life sciences, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in operational excellence and process improvement within the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in Medical Affairs (ideally at a global level) and in leading teams
- Strong project management and IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- High intercultural competence, strong team spirit, and a proactive, goal-oriented approach
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 30%)
- Excellent English skills (fluent written and spoken)
