About the role
- Controller responsible for creating financial reports and analyses at MERKUR SPIELBANKEN. Involves budgeting, forecasting, and strategic project participation.
Responsibilities
- Preparation, analysis and interpretation of business reports, KPIs and ad-hoc analyses
- Responsibility for planning and executing budget and forecast processes
- Ensuring high transparency of results
- Development and automation of existing reporting and controlling structures
- Preparation of cost-effectiveness, profitability and investment analyses as well as business plans
- Participation in special projects and strategic initiatives
Requirements
- University degree in economics, business administration or a related field, or equivalent professional qualification, ideally with a focus on controlling
- Several years of experience in reporting-oriented controlling and project experience are required
- Confident user of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with strong numerical and IT affinity
- Experience with SAP modules (FI and CO) and in analyzing and presenting common KPIs, ideally complemented by knowledge of BI tools such as SAP BW/BPC or SAP Analytics Cloud
- Analytical and structured thinking, strong team and communication skills
- Good written and spoken English
