Responsibilities

  • Responding to patient inquiries
  • Identifying and resolving patient account problems
  • Providing a positive customer experience
  • Keeping goodwill of the patients
  • Ensuring timely collection of receivables
  • Reporting to the Manager Patient Business Services
  • Documenting communications accurately and completely
  • Establishing financial arrangements to collect revenues

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree preferred
  • Four (4) years of progressive customer service experience in a medical/healthcare environment
  • Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle operations
  • Effective listening and reading comprehension skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced high-volume call center
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior interpersonal skills
  • Good typing speed and computer navigation skills
  • Bilingual preferred
