About the role

  • Sales and Marketing Specialist at Hitachi Energy driving sales and marketing initiatives for Grid Automation. Building customer relationships and achieving sales targets within the energy sector.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales and marketing initiatives for the Grid Automation (GA) Service portfolio
  • Build a strong and sustainable sales pipeline for GA service offerings
  • Establish and grow customer relationships across various sectors
  • Support customers end-to-end from inquiry to cash collection
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Ensure timely closure of inquiries and orders
  • Manage collections and receivables
  • Lead and participate in technical discussions and presentations
  • Gather and analyze market trends and competitive intelligence
  • Responsible for compliance with external and internal regulations

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in Sales and Marketing
  • Proven experience working with service business models in the power or infrastructure sector
  • Bachelor’s degree (BE/BTech) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (preferred)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language
