About the role

  • Regional Sales Manager leading a high-performing team for cardiac ablation solutions at Medtronic. Driving sales growth and developing market strategies within Queensland and New Zealand.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, directs, and monitors the activities of a sales team within a specified region to achieve established sales targets
  • Develops and implements regional business strategies to execute on opportunities in the region for potential accounts.
  • Implements business & marketing objectives to further sales.
  • Manages the day-to-day activities of a sales and clinical team to implement the organization's overall business & marketing strategy for an assigned region
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with customers, key account personnel and relevant functions to support selling, mapping, and clinical programs
  • Identifies opportunities and develops new programs to meet the organization's sales plans to increase market share
  • Coaches’ sales representatives on capital & consumable aspects of the organization's products and services; marketing campaigns and sales techniques, procedures, and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree is required
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of simple and complex diagnostic and ablation electrophysiology procedures.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to operate 3D electrophysiology mapping and navigation systems.
  • Demonstrate an agile and can-do mindset
  • Interstate travel is required
  • Valid driver’s licence required
