About the role
- Placement Analyst responsible for technical studies and proposals negotiation in health and dental benefits. Collaborating with insurance companies for optimal solutions in São Paulo, Brasil.
Responsibilities
- Place risks in the insurance market by preparing all necessary documentation about the risk to be placed (including information about the client, the desired type of coverage, and the risk conditions), in order to obtain the best possible terms for coverage of insurable and non-insurable benefits.
- Conduct market studies by obtaining proposals from different insurers to understand the coverages, terms and costs offered, in order to perform comparative analyses between the collected proposals and the client company’s current insurance.
- Prepare and present provider networks by detailing the coverage regions and available service providers, enabling the client to evaluate whether switching benefit plans would be advantageous.
- Present insurance options to the client by explaining the differences between proposals, the advantages and disadvantages of each, and recommending the best choice based on the analysis performed, in order to determine the optimal cost-benefit solution and adequacy to the client’s needs.
- Interact with the insurance market by contacting insurers to seek the best terms, with the aim of presenting advantageous options to client companies and ensuring our offering stands out from the competition.
- Perform other related professional activities inherent to the role as required by the area, including through training, professional qualification and guidance from the immediate leader, to ensure continuous professional development as a learning opportunity and according to the area’s needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree completed in Administration, Finance or Insurance-related fields.
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Solid knowledge of health plans, dental plans, Group Life insurance and commercial terms.
- Experience in studies of insurable and non-insurable benefits.
- Client focus, professionalism, collaboration, innovation, resilience, organization, a sense of priority and business acumen.
