About the role

  • Quality Systems Manager overseeing quality systems and compliance at McCormick's Atlanta plant. Responsible for implementing and auditing quality systems across all departments.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development, implementation and auditing of the Quality Systems for all departments of the Plant
  • Manage sanitation and ensure that all GMP requirements are met
  • Manage Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) program for the Plant
  • Ensure compliance to Corporate, Regulatory, and Customer requirements
  • Maintain and implement the Plant's Quality Systems Policies and Procedures
  • Document the Plant's HACCP Program
  • Conduct/supervise internal audits, identifying root causes, recommending corrective actions
  • Facilitate third party and regulatory audits
  • Provide feedback on sanitation and GMP issues
  • Monitor warehouse performance in sanitation/pest control
  • Make strategic purchases and manage implementation projects related to the purchase
  • Responsible for various Quality System programs
  • Coordinates Plant activities and training related to Quality System Programs

Requirements

  • BA in Food Science, Biology
  • 4 years of Food manufacturing QC experience
  • Understanding of food processing requirements and government regulations
  • Liquid products knowledge a plus.
