About the role

  • Assistant Manager handling talent development and employee engagement activities at McCormick. Ensuring smooth execution of training plans and fostering employee experiences in Shanghai, China.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end execution of the annual training plan, including scheduling and tracking.
  • Coordinate key milestones in the talent cycle: goal setting and talent review.
  • Design and deliver employee engagement and wellbeing activities.
  • Support communication between employees, managers, and HR, ensuring clarity and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Communications, Psychology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in talent development, employee engagement, or HR project coordination.
  • Strong team player with effective listening, highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in online Talent & Learning platforms (e.g., SuccessFactors, Degreed).
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English required.
