Regional Operations Specialist providing support to Mazda’s dealer network and field operations. Collaborating with leadership, monitoring performance, and ensuring effective communication with dealers.
Responsibilities
Day-to-day support of regional field operations team and management of dealer facing regional administrative functions.
Answer inquiries from dealers on policies, procedures and processes, while providing an exceptional level of service.
Collaborate with region leadership and field team to optimize dealer performance.
Monitor and report on key metrics, manage department budget, and ensure effective communications between management, field, and dealers.
Develop regular Region to Dealer communications for respective assigned area.
Program and performance monitoring of Regional Operations initiatives focusing on dealer performance and business planning.
Assist in annual, quarterly, and monthly regional projects with analysis, tracking, and reporting of project progress.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training and work experience.
Prior work experience in a customer facing role or internship preferred.
Experience in a sales related role using a consultative approach.
Understanding of automotive mechanics and industry terminology preferred, but not required.
Experience with an automotive OEM in a corporate, region or field role with understanding of an OEM/dealership relationship preferred.
Experience in fixed operations or service or parts related role working for a repair shop, parts store, parts or accessories supplier preferred.
Analytical and problem solving skills to identify problems and develop corrective actions.
Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks are essential.
Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision and/or direction.
