Night Manager responsible for client reception and team supervision at The Maybourne Riviera. Ensuring quality service and operational coordination during night shifts.
Responsibilities
Ensure guest reception and front-desk operations during night shifts;
Handle and/or coordinate the reception of VIP guests flagged by Management or other departments;
Supervise the hotel’s night teams and receive handover instructions from each department before, during and after the night shift;
Complete the daily accounting close for the reception/front desk;
Cover parking duties in the absence of valet staff and ensure vehicle security overnight;
Manage and resolve guest complaints;
Coordinate between departments during night operations, acting as the on-site manager and first point of contact for problem resolution, and ensure adherence to service quality standards;
Oversee the night team’s schedule, including timekeeping, leave requests and shift planning, in compliance with French labor law and the applicable collective agreement;
Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience in an equivalent night position.
Experience working in luxury or high-end hotels.
Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail and team spirit.
Proficiency with OPERA PMS.
Fluent in French and comfortable working in English.
Fluency in a third language is a plus.
