About the role

  • VP of Marketing establishing growth strategies and leading a team at Maropost. Driving brand awareness and customer retention through innovative AI-powered marketing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as a key leader and set strategic long-term Marketing direction, priorities, metrics, goals, and overall roadmap to support Maropost’s growth objectives
  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team across demand gen, content, brand, product marketing, and operations
  • Define and lead the marketing AI strategy in alignment with overall business goals
  • Develop, activate, and execute multi-channel, integrated campaigns that builds brand awareness and generates leads by leveraging digital, email, events, partner, and sales channels
  • Oversee the use of generative AI tools (e.g., for content writing, video creation, image generation) to scale content production
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI/ML across the marketing funnel (e.g., customer segmentation, personalization, predictive analytics)
  • Implement AI tools for multi-channel attribution, budget allocation, and ROI optimization
  • Automate campaign management processes using AI where applicable
  • Continuously improve lead-to-customer conversion rates using data-driven insights
  • Develop impactful communication channels and support a portfolio of new demand generation tactics
  • Develop and manage product launch strategies, go-to-market campaigns, and feature announcements
  • Own brand identity, messaging, and positioning to clearly differentiate in a competitive SaaS landscape
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the executive team to be delivered weekly, quarterly and annually as part of the company planning and objective setting
  • Conduct market analysis and research while monitoring industry trends and competitor activities to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
  • Design and review the Marketing department’s budget, and its integration with other components of the company budget

Requirements

  • 10+ years of marketing experience with a minimum of 5 years in a senior management role (Senior Director or VP)
  • Proven success in B2B SaaS, PLG models, and multi-product global environments, ideally with $80M+ in ARR
  • Proven experience integrating AI and machine learning into marketing strategy, operations, or MarTech ecosystems
  • Proven track record of scaling a SaaS or eCommerce business, ideally to $100M+ ARR
  • Previous experience or in-depth knowledge of international marketing strategy (NA, APAC, Europe)
  • Proven capacity to develop and execute long-term marketing strategies and drive PLG (product led growth)
  • Solid knowledge of core marketing channels such as SEO, web analytics, events, PPC etc
  • Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques – HubSpot is our choice!
  • A bias for using data analytics (attribution mindset) in decision making combined with project management skills
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to make impactful decisions
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or relevant field
