About the role

  • Account Executive driving sales processes in a performance-based environment at Maropost. Partnering with prospective customers to maximize the use of our platform in the Mid-Market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a sustained pipeline by actively prospecting and developing new business pipeline within target accounts + ICP to meet or exceed productivity and quota expectations.
  • Effectively articulate the Maropost value proposition and return of investment of our multi-channel solution across the prospect buyer map.
  • Lead the entire sales cycle from initial opportunity creation to close.
  • Be a quota-crusher with a ‘customer-first’ mentality.
  • Proactively create + refresh individual territory strategies to develop and grow the territory.
  • Manage, qualify, and convert inbound and partner-sourced leads.
  • Master the Maropost Sales process to provide a consistent and repeatable sales experience with high conversion rate.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the industry, seasonality, and business trends/events, and continually monitor competitor/industry developments.
  • Work cross-departmentally and build long-lasting relationships.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, prospect, customer, pipeline, and forecast information.
  • Ability to leverage AI-powered sales tools to prioritize leads, personalize outreach, and improve deal conversion rates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of software sales experience
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding New Business quota within B2B SaaS companies
  • Strong sales fundamentals, business & sales acumen
  • Commerce (Ecommerce, retail, marketing automation, and merchandising verticals) prior roles
  • Can showcase an effective, repeatable method for uncovering greenfield opportunities and building out a new territory
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, external prospects, and clients
  • Experience in a high-growth, SaaS scaleup with fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Experience creating new business opportunities. Including, but not limited to cold calling + emailing, LinkedIn Messages, Video Prospecting, converting Inbound demand, converting generated demand
  • Familiarity with Gong, HubSpot, M365, Apollo, and LI Nav.
