About the role
- Human Resources Generalist providing HR support for Marine Specialties Inc. in Gainesville, GA with responsibilities across multiple HR functions including recruitment and employee relations.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support across multiple HR functions for all entities within the portfolio
- Help ensure consistent processes, timely service, and compliance across the organization
- Work closely with the HR Director, local managers, and Shared Services to handle employee relations, onboarding, benefits support, HR administration, and policy execution
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions and concerns across assigned entities
- Partner with the HR Director on recruiting efforts, including job postings, applicant screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication
- Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HRIS data
- Provide employee guidance during open enrollment and qualifying life events
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- 2+ years of progressive HR experience; experience level and scope may vary based on background
- Working knowledge of employee relations, recruiting, benefits, and HR compliance
- Strong communication skills, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple locations
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
