About the role

Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain and expand a program of primary and preventive Behavioral/Mental Health care
- Supervise the Behavioral Health staff of the community health center
- Provide Behavioral Health advice and counsel to the Executive Director and the Board of Directors
- Prepare and submit monthly written reports on Behavioral Health Department issues
- Participate in short and long term program planning for the Behavioral Health Department
- Prepare grant applications and develop the corporation’s Behavioral Health care plan
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding Behavioral Health care
Requirements
- Current State of California license in Clinical Psychology required
- Psy. D or Ph.D in Clinical Psychology
- 2 years minimum recent clinical experience
- Experience working in an outpatient community healthcare clinic preferred
- Must possess excellent organization, writing, and verbal skills
- English proficiency required; Spanish proficiency preferred
