About the role

  • Director Global Brand & Trade Marketing leading initiatives for automotive aftermarket at MANN+HUMMEL. Fostering collaboration, driving brand awareness, and managing global marketing activities.

Responsibilities

  • Define the business unit’s vision and global strategy, own standards and guidelines, and establish systems to strengthen brand positioning.
  • Oversee global brand activities and lead the regional marketing community.
  • Drive brand awareness, customer satisfaction, and profitable growth in alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide leadership to regional Brand and Trade Marketing organizations.
  • Develop and maintain a globally consistent brand architecture and roadmap aligned with company goals.
  • Coordinate the global Brand Management team and guide regional marketing functions.
  • Oversee the development and continuous improvement of systems, tools, processes, and services.
  • Promote a culture of customer centricity, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives through data excellence, advanced analytics, and AI adoption.
  • Define and enforce global standards and processes while sharing best practices across the organization.
  • Monitor performance through a comprehensive KPI framework and ensure effective governance and reporting.
  • Manage the global marketing planning process to optimize regional investments during annual business planning.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, pricing, sales, R&D, and executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in Brand or Trade Marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, ideally in the independent automotive aftermarket.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and lead through influence
  • Proven success in driving brand and/or trade marketing initiatives, including budget oversight
  • Hands-on experience in digital and social media marketing
  • Strong capability to manage complexity and foster continuous improvement
  • In-depth knowledge of brand architecture, brand communication, and promotional activities within the Automotive Aftermarket.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
