About the role
- Mid-level Information System Security Officer providing technical support to Navy Cyber Warfare Developmental Group. Ensuring security and integrity of information systems and network configurations.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the Navy Cyber Warfare Developmental Group (NCWDG)
- Responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of the organization’s information systems
- Install, configure, and maintain the local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and servers
- Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources
- Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including backups.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in an administrative role in a security environment
- Knowledgeable of OPSEC, personnel industrial, physical, IT/IA, and information security principals
- Possess a keen knowledge of Government and Industrial Security regulations and contractor clearances
- Proficiency with the Federal Government security databases
- Experience with processing visit certifications
- Experience with maintaining security holding
- Solid knowledge in the use of MS Office software
- Experience with PAR in the JADE system
- Experience in Special Access Program (SAP) environments
- High School diploma or GED
