About the role
- Junior Analyst in Operational Information at MAG conducting various analyses and reports on insurance products. Support in regulatory and financial processes while maintaining KPI oversight.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the annual adjustment of insurance contributions, understanding impacts, calculations and applicable rules;
- Ensure correct understanding and analysis of insurance products, taking into account their particularities, compositions and structural differences;
- Monitor KPIs and control variables;
- Identify and analyze atypical behaviors;
- Prepare technical justifications;
- Critically question figures and results;
- Maintain constant interface with the finance team, ensuring that issued premiums are in line with expectations and collaborating on corrections and justifications when necessary;
- Reconcile databases related to plan enrollments and public pension with MAG and partners;
- Monitor the automatic execution of cancellation and delinquency routines, based on rules defined by the Operations Policy;
- Provide insights and analyses from data interpretation (premiums, allocations, amounts issued, etc.);
- Use AI tools to scale, automate and optimize activities;
- Prepare presentations, reports and clear explanations of analyses performed.
Requirements
- Degree preferably in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Engineering and/or related fields;
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel);
- Good verbal and written communication, with the ability to explain complex analyses clearly;
- Analytical reasoning and data interpretation skills;
- Interest in and/or basic use of Artificial Intelligence tools.
- Desired qualifications:
- Knowledge of Python for automation and analysis;
- Knowledge of Power BI;
- Previous experience with Lean (daily management/KPI) is a plus.
