About the role

  • Junior Analyst in Operational Information at MAG conducting various analyses and reports on insurance products. Support in regulatory and financial processes while maintaining KPI oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the annual adjustment of insurance contributions, understanding impacts, calculations and applicable rules;
  • Ensure correct understanding and analysis of insurance products, taking into account their particularities, compositions and structural differences;
  • Monitor KPIs and control variables;
  • Identify and analyze atypical behaviors;
  • Prepare technical justifications;
  • Critically question figures and results;
  • Maintain constant interface with the finance team, ensuring that issued premiums are in line with expectations and collaborating on corrections and justifications when necessary;
  • Reconcile databases related to plan enrollments and public pension with MAG and partners;
  • Monitor the automatic execution of cancellation and delinquency routines, based on rules defined by the Operations Policy;
  • Provide insights and analyses from data interpretation (premiums, allocations, amounts issued, etc.);
  • Use AI tools to scale, automate and optimize activities;
  • Prepare presentations, reports and clear explanations of analyses performed.

Requirements

  • Degree preferably in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Engineering and/or related fields;
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel);
  • Good verbal and written communication, with the ability to explain complex analyses clearly;
  • Analytical reasoning and data interpretation skills;
  • Interest in and/or basic use of Artificial Intelligence tools.
  • Desired qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Python for automation and analysis;
  • Knowledge of Power BI;
  • Previous experience with Lean (daily management/KPI) is a plus.
