About the role

  • Inside Account Manager managing top clients in a family-owned company focused on 100% customer satisfaction. Collaborating internally to streamline project execution and enhance customer relations.

Responsibilities

  • You manage and develop our top clients in close coordination with the Account Manager
  • You ensure smooth quotation creation and processing, route inquiries, and coordinate all internal departments for complex projects
  • You proactively support the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of customer-specific agreements (e.g., framework agreements, delivery concepts), oversee their execution, and intervene actively in case of disruptions
  • You process customer orders and resolve open issues
  • You work closely with Account Managers and internal specialist departments (engineering, logistics, tendering team, etc.) to ensure a consistent customer approach (“One Voice to the Customer”) and seamless order processing
  • You support potential analyses and contribute to the creation and implementation of customer-specific development plans
  • You maintain sales-relevant data in the ERP and CRM systems and regularly report defined KPIs to team leaders and Account Managers

Requirements

  • Completed commercial or technical vocational training and about 3 years of experience in sales – ideally in a trading company or a similar environment
  • Confident use of ERP/CRM systems and MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong process and system understanding
  • Strength in needs analysis, consulting, and building long-term customer relationships
  • Team-oriented, strong coordination skills, and a solution-focused working style
  • Hands-on mentality and the ability to solve challenges independently
  • Very careful and reliable, structured and organized
