  • Surveillance MARA Manager leading the Market Abuse Risk Assessment process at Lloyds Banking Group. Ensuring compliance through risk identification and mitigation in financial markets activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Market Abuse Risk Assessment process
  • Identify market abuse risks and ensure they are effectively mitigated
  • Produce regular MI and thematic analysis on market abuse risks
  • Co-ordinate responses to regulatory queries
  • Regularly review and assess existing surveillance controls
  • Engage with other departments/teams where compensating controls sit

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of MAR/market abuse regimes
  • Practical experience of trade and communications surveillance in wholesale markets
  • Experience conducting or enhancing Market Abuse Risk Assessments
  • Comprehensive product knowledge across key traded instruments
  • Excellent data/technical skills to support surveillance analytics.
