About the role

  • Director of Commercial Performance leading the commercial card business strategy at Lloyds Banking Group. Collaborating with finance and sales to achieve commercial outcomes in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the commercial strategy
  • Oversight and management of the end-to-end P&L
  • Ensuring pricing strategy and methodology reflect business outcomes
  • Drive understanding and track portfolio performance to inform the strategy
  • Partner closely with Finance and Sales teams to accurately track and report progress
  • Leading, coaching, and mentoring the team to enable high performance
  • Managing customer contracts and ensuring performance in line with standards and terms

Requirements

  • Strong commercial skills
  • Experience leading commercialisation teams and/or projects
  • Exceptional P&L management skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to think laterally, be innovative and find creative solutions
  • Brilliant collaborator across matrix teams
  • Experience and understanding of Commercial Cards (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Cards payment rails and funding models (preferred)
