Responsibilities
- Identify pricing opportunities through deep dives into Business Units, including new acquisitions.
- Partner with management and sales team to provide and present pricing analysis, compile data, and execute key pricing analyses.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking to understand how current pricing model compares against competitors in the industry
- Evaluate strategic opportunities and prioritize them with the Head of Pricing based on potential benefits and implementation requirements.
- Drive the successful implementation of pricing initiatives by planning and executing all aspects of operationalization with key stakeholders.
- Conduct annual reviews of price books and recommend modifications to list price structures and levels.
- Support the implementation of best practice pricing approaches and facilitate knowledge sharing across the group.
- Determine appropriate packaging and prices for new products, including conducting market research and collaborating with product and marketing teams.
- Lead regular pricing reporting meetings, design pricing dashboards with the Data team, monitor key pricing indicators, and compile reports to communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources (ERP, CRM, finance systems).
- Lead Generative AI initiatives within the pricing function to improve efficiency, automate insight generation, and identify optimization opportunities across pricing, discounting, and margin management.
- Assist with board level, leadership level reporting and Support board and executive leadership reporting by developing clear, insight-driven analyses and materials that inform strategic pricing and commercial decisions
Requirements
- 4 + years of experience in consulting, technology, and /or pricing, with a focus on hyper-growth, equity-backed SaaS companies
- Strong analytical skills and highly numerate
- Effective communication skills
- A keen interest in pricing is essential
- Experience in working in teams, and a desire to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders of different seniority across group and individual business units
- Strong sense of ownership and a proactive approach to solving problems and driving progress
- Good ability to manage a workload spread across a variety of projects and workstreams, and prioritize key actions
