Responsibilities
Identify pricing opportunities through deep dives into Business Units, including new acquisitions.
Partner with management and sales team to provide and present pricing analysis, compile data, and execute key pricing analyses.
Conduct competitor benchmarking to understand how current pricing model compares against competitors in the industry
Evaluate strategic opportunities and prioritize them with the Head of Pricing based on potential benefits and implementation requirements.
Drive the successful implementation of pricing initiatives by planning and executing all aspects of operationalization with key stakeholders.
Conduct annual reviews of price books and recommend modifications to list price structures and levels.
Support the implementation of best practice pricing approaches and facilitate knowledge sharing across the group.
Determine appropriate packaging and prices for new products, including conducting market research and collaborating with product and marketing teams.
Lead regular pricing reporting meetings, design pricing dashboards with the Data team, monitor key pricing indicators, and compile reports to communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources (ERP, CRM, finance systems).
Lead Generative AI initiatives within the pricing function to improve efficiency, automate insight generation, and identify optimization opportunities across pricing, discounting, and margin management.
Assist with board level, leadership level reporting and Support board and executive leadership reporting by developing clear, insight-driven analyses and materials that inform strategic pricing and commercial decisions
Requirements
4 + years of experience in consulting, technology, and /or pricing, with a focus on hyper-growth, equity-backed SaaS companies
Strong analytical skills and highly numerate
Effective communication skills
A keen interest in pricing is essential
Experience in working in teams, and a desire to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders of different seniority across group and individual business units
Strong sense of ownership and a proactive approach to solving problems and driving progress
Good ability to manage a workload spread across a variety of projects and workstreams, and prioritize key actions
