About the role

  • Customer Care Assistant at Lincoln Electric managing client interactions and order flow. Focused on ensuring compliance with sales and delivery metrics while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers, sales representatives, and vendors to facilitate the completion of sales
  • Receive orders via email/customer portal and critically review them, verifying compliance with current commercial criteria and/or those presented in the proposal (recent purchases, payment terms, carrier, delivery lead time, tax treatment)
  • Verify customer registration information and gather documentation for new customer registration or updates when necessary
  • After critical review of the order, register it in SAP and release it to the Distribution Center
  • Check orders blocked due to credit or stock issues; investigate the causes of the block and identify solutions to release the orders
  • Monitor the entire sales process through to delivery to the customer, ensuring agreed deadlines and compliance with Fill Rate & Promise Date indicators
  • Attach all backups of quotations, negotiations, and orders in SAP
  • Maintain confidentiality of Sales information, not sharing such information with other departments or external parties outside Lincoln Electric
  • Create dashboards and update sales management reports.

Requirements

  • Minimum desired education: completed or pursuing a university degree in administrative studies or related fields
  • Knowledge of SAP and Excel is a plus
  • Experience in commercial/sales or customer service roles
