About the role

  • Product Designer analyzing healthcare workflows and crafting user-focused solutions at Lifen. Collaborating with Product Managers to enhance health data accessibility and improve clinical discoveries.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of healthcare — clinical workflows, hospital constraints, regulatory challenges — to propose solutions users wouldn’t have articulated themselves.
  • Engage directly with the field: interviews with caregivers, on-site observations in hospitals, and analysis of usage data.
  • Synthesize business, user, and technical signals with the Product Manager to clarify what needs to be built.
  • This is the core of the role: from a validated problem, you are responsible for the solution. You define the scope of features to build: data pipelines, business rules, automations, and user journeys, while integrating the technical context in collaboration with engineers.
  • Produce the appropriate artifacts — flows, wireframes, prototypes, mockups — calibrating the level of detail to the stage.
  • Leverage generative AI and all available shortcuts to move faster. We massively automate craft and specification — what matters is the quality of your product thinking.
  • Advocate the solution vision within the development team. Make real-time trade-offs with engineering.
  • Measure post-release usage, identify friction points, and continuously feed the backlog with improvements.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in Product Design.
  • Solution obsession: you primarily want to understand the problem, define what should be built, and ensure it works.
  • You are pragmatic, direct, and have a strong bias for action.
  • Tooling: you actively use AI in your work and believe these tools are fundamentally transforming the profession.
  • Empathy: you can understand and draw insights from your end users.
  • Healthcare knowledge: you are eager to dive into the complex healthcare domain and become an expert.

Benefits

  • Flexible work mode: Commuter (3 days/week in the office) or Nomad (2 days/month in the office, travel reimbursed by Lifen).
  • Swile card with €9/day (50% covered by Lifen).
  • Health insurance including alternative medicine and mental health support (55% covered by Lifen).
  • €30/month for culture: concerts, museums, or even to reimburse your Spotify subscription.
  • 100% coverage of maternity and paternity leave + 5 days per year for child sick leave.
  • 1 offsite with your team per semester + 1 company-wide Lifen offsite per year + one monthly day when everyone meets at the Paris office.
  • And finally: a transparent, progressive compensation policy.
