About the role
- Industrial Designer supporting the design team in creating innovative home products. Collaborating globally to develop concepts from sketches to 3D models in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the design team and other product development teams worldwide.
- Iteratively develop and refine ideas and concepts from initial sketches to 3D models.
- Work independently and in collaboration with other teams and stakeholders.
- Create rapid prototypes to test ergonomics, operating concepts, and styling throughout different development stages.
- See projects through to series production, developing detailed solutions and design adjustments.
- Contribute to further shaping the brands' design language.
Requirements
- Degree in product, industrial, or transportation design
- At least 3 years of professional experience
- A portfolio demonstrating independent, innovative projects and commercially launched products
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Highly motivated with the ability to independently develop ideas and concepts
- Strong sense of form, shape, and proportion
- Good understanding of ergonomics and user interaction
- Familiarity with production processes and materials
- Experience with 3D software such as Rhino, Alias, SolidWorks, and the Adobe Suite
- Ability to visualize and communicate ideas quickly and clearly
- Organized work style and reliable task execution
- Experience designing products with complex requirements
- Enjoy designing consumer home products
- Fluent in English
