Collections Agent responsible for making and receiving calls regarding client accounts and product updates. Engaging with customers to resolve issues and improve account retention.
Responsibilities
Make and receive calls from diverse customers who need to update their service or account for our product
Handle outbound and inbound calls from our client base in a respectful and professional manner
Listen patiently, engage with the customer, show empathy, build rapport, obtain a form of payment & offer solutions
Review each customer's situation to determine the best approach to ship the customer's product
Increase account retention, and address product questions and customer concerns
Handle customer complaints
Identify & report escalated issues and complaints to management
Process sales & cancellations
Offer savings opportunities and switch the form of payment when applicable
Have a good understanding of assigned goals and objectives
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong computer and interpersonal communication skills
1-2 years of customer service in a call center, service industry, or retail sales
A customer-focused approach with adaptability to new situations
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time
