About the role

  • Manager leading transformation initiatives in Billing & Collections at Goodwin, optimizing processes and improving operational efficiencies in a professional services environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement improvements to billing, collections, and e-billing processes and procedures to enhance efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to implement standardized operating procedures in order to improve efficiency of team
  • Develop and document procedures
  • Identify technology solutions which can assist with eliminating manual processes and ultimately reduce billing and/or payment cycles
  • Develop project reporting to measure impact of improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of transformation experience
  • 5+ years of billing and collections experience in a professional service organization (preferably law firms)
  • Knowledge of key systems such as Aderant Expert, ARCS 2G, Billblast, Billstream, ODDR, various e-billing platforms and Chrome River
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully driving change management and implementing transformation initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to design end-to-end processes
  • Proactive problem solver with excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong collaborator and team player with exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
  • Must thrive in a rapid-paced and dynamic business environment with a willingness to travel as necessary
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
