Responsibilities
Represent the sales department's interests as a permanent member of each project's core team
Review inquiries, quotations and orders
Acquire follow-up orders by preparing comprehensive base offers and coordinating costs and unit prices with Development, including use of the central Lear database
Product costing in coordination with the production plant
Cost determination and preparation of offers
Create and continuously update the parts lifecycle record
Negotiate change requests with the customer Mercedes‑Benz
Commission prototypes/samples
Ensure revenue realization
Request and analyze comparison data from Lear International
Prepare for and participate in final negotiations with the customer
Serve as the customer's point of contact for any cost-related questions
Execute change management according to customer guidelines
Prepare and deliver presentations/project reviews internally and at the customer's site
Document meetings and agreements
Requirements
Technical or business degree (Bachelor's or Master's)
Several years of professional experience in sales, preferably in the automotive industry
Independent and responsible working style
Team player with strong interpersonal skills
Confident user of common Microsoft Office programs
Flexible and highly committed
Excellent English skills
Experience negotiating with customers
