About the role

  • Quality Systems Engineer ensuring effectiveness of quality systems in Lear Corporation's manufacturing plant. Responsibilities include quality audits, documentation, and support for supplier quality activities.

Responsibilities

  • Assuring the correct functioning of the quality system in the manufacturing plant
  • The accomplish of customer specifics requirements
  • Lear QOS leadership, deployment and mastery
  • Plant QOS Document Control
  • Quality Training / Induction for new operating personnel
  • Internal & External Audits scheduling and lead
  • Verify customer systems to ensure all reported issues have been addressed
  • OEM portal maintenance – Certification data
  • Support to Supplier Quality & Quality Control Activities: IATF Decertification Process to critical Providers
  • Global & External Projects Support: Innovation and IDEAS CEO strategy support for NA region

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or any related area
  • 3+ Years of experience in automotive industries (wire harness experience is a plus)
  • Core Tools (Automotive): Control Plan, AMEF, SPC, MSA, PPAP, APQP
  • IATF 16949 & ISO 9001
  • Proficient with Microsoft office
  • Problem solving and excellent communications skills
  • Bilingual English level
