About the role
- Systems Engineer supporting intelligent roadway systems design and optimization for safer infrastructure solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-performing systems that deliver reliable data.
Responsibilities
- Performing QA/QC checks to validate system performance and data integrity across DAAS, POC, and production environments
- Monitoring deployed sites to ensure high-quality, continuous data collection
- Investigating and troubleshooting system, sensor, or connectivity issues
- Supporting installations and commissioning activities, including advanced technologies such as Virtual Weigh-In-Motion (WIM)
- Assisting with root cause analysis and corrective actions for system performance issues
- Collaborating with Technical Architects and cross-functional teams on solution design and deployment
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation, drawings, and schematics
- Providing technical support to internal stakeholders and customers
Requirements
- Education – Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Experience – Typically 2–5+ years in systems engineering, technical support, ITS, or related technical roles
