About the role
- Field Application Engineer providing technical support and training for embedded system products. Collaborating with customers and internal teams to ensure successful product implementation and usage.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical contact for our customers
- Support customers with the commissioning of our products
- Act as the interface between customers and our development department
- Provide technical support to our sales team and technical marketing
- Deliver technical trainings and customer seminars and prepare the necessary materials for them
Requirements
- Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Technical Computer Science, or a comparable technical qualification is required
- Development experience in embedded software, preferably in C/C++
- Microcontroller knowledge (ARM, TriCore, PowerPC, etc.)
- Knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python, Ruby)
- Experience with debug systems is an advantage
- Good and confident communication skills in German and English
- Willingness to travel within Germany and to neighboring countries is desirable
